Wisdom Across Ages
Wisdom does not come mainly from experience but also from the way we look at the world. As much as we often focus on teaching children, we need to also be open-minded enough to learn from them.
The following two videos depicts beautifully (1) how to converse with children rather than talk to them, (2) how conversing with children can expand your perspective of life, and (3) that wisdom comes not just from life's experiences but also from one's perspective about life.
In this first video, a boy and a man whose ages are 57 years apart, talk about life. What did you notice or realise after listening to their conversation?
In this second video, a girl and a woman whose ages are 58 years apart, talk about life. What did you notice or realise after listening to their conversation?
